Responsibilities
Develop technical specifications for scope of work related to heavy construction such as Industrial Steel Structural Buildings, Deep foundations, Heavy traffic roads, Pipe storage yards, underground utilities
Bidding process participation by answering technical questions
Technical review and analysis of potential Contractor’s proposals
Coordinate RFI’s responses, review and approve submittals
Design review and coordination among other disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical
Proposed change orders management, review and analyze them for upper management review
Conduct site meetings as required, create comprehensive meeting minutes and reporting to stake holders
Follow-up and secure responses from suppliers, sub-contractors, engineers, architects, owners
Requirements
10-15 years’ work experience in Construction projects (Industrial projects, heavy industrial infrastructure, not regular construction experience,
Detail-oriented and possess effective English written and verbal communication skills
Effective interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills
Comfortable in a schedule-driven environment and meet deadlines
Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision
Ability to understand drawing related to design such as Civil, Electrical, Architectural, Plumbing, Fire code, etc
Software knowledge Office suite, MS Project, CAD, Primavera
Project length 2 years - 2.5 years
