Responsibilities

  • Develop technical specifications for scope of work related to heavy construction such as Industrial Steel Structural Buildings, Deep foundations, Heavy traffic roads, Pipe storage yards, underground utilities

  • Bidding process participation by answering technical questions

  • Technical review and analysis of potential Contractor’s proposals

  • Coordinate RFI’s responses, review and approve submittals

  • Design review and coordination among other disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical

  • Proposed change orders management, review and analyze them for upper management review

  • Conduct site meetings as required, create comprehensive meeting minutes and reporting to stake holders

  • Follow-up and secure responses from suppliers, sub-contractors, engineers, architects, owners

Requirements

  • 10-15 years’ work experience in Construction projects (Industrial projects, heavy industrial infrastructure, not regular construction experience,

  • Detail-oriented and possess effective English written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills

  • Comfortable in a schedule-driven environment and meet deadlines

  • Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision

  • Ability to understand drawing related to design such as Civil, Electrical, Architectural, Plumbing, Fire code, etc

  • Software knowledge Office suite, MS Project, CAD, Primavera

  • Project length 2 years - 2.5 years
